I’m going to be soloing the kids this weekend while my husband is working. The way I see it I’m going to have to find more stuff for them to do so that I don’t go crazy. I know that they haven’t got to play outstide because the weather has been pretty crappy and it can be really hard for one person to handle them alone outside. I’m planning on bundling them up in their rainsuits and letting them play in the garden. I know that they’ll get dirty and probably they’ll get wet but I think that I need to let them do it anyway.
Since I’ve been back at work the weekends have been hard. The kids are bored playing inside, they are tired of the toys we have and since I’m home and available the want to nurse frequently. I’ve also been looking for inside activites for us to do. The first things that came to mind are playdoh or dried beans but I’m fairly certain that they kids will just end up eating those. Last time I tried crayons they kids were fairly indifferent about colouring.
